Vastushastra for Educational Institute

Education institute i.e. school, college, Engineering, Medical and other Vocational, education institutes, Training Centers. It has many rooms, halls, laboratories, libraries as the requirement of the institute. In short Institute should run well, graph of students should always be high for this. For this building should be planned according Vastushastra.
  1. It is important to have entrance door at north to east.
  2. Play ground of Institute should be at north to east so that this part of the institute remains free.
  3. Main, tallest and big building should be at south west. Building shorter should be at south east and shortest building in the premises should be at North West.
  4. It is essential to have board and students should face east to north. That improves grasping power, thinking power and concentration. And students grasp well what they are taught.
  5. In the main building at north east direction an excellent Sarswati Mandir or beautiful idol of Sarswati should be kept in the open space with attractive decoration. While praying students should face north east direction only.
  6. Vice Principal or Vice president of the institute should have their offices at south direction or on the second last floor.
  7. Main library should be at west to North West direction. In that also heavy book cupboards should be at west to South west. Sitting arrangement in the library should be at North West of the hall. And facing should be north to East.
  8. Laboratories of physics, chemistry, industrial or Electronic Engineering and computer science should be at south east.
  9. Civil Engineering, biology, zoology, botany laboratories should be at south west direction.
  10.  Computer and Commerce technology, information technology and few specific types of chemistry labs are beneficial when located at North West direction.
  11. Toilet Blocks should be at North West to west direction.
  12. Power generators, inverters, computer server, and special research department this kind of departments should be at South East.
  13. Staff quarters should be at South east.
  14. Gymkhana or other entertainment facilities should be at North West.
  15. It is good to keep staff rooms at west.
